Email Security Analyst

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for Email Security Analyst to strengthen our defenses against evolving email threats and ensure rapid effective incident response
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze email traffic to identify potential threats and ensure optimal filtering accuracyInvestigate and respond to emailrelated security incidents coordinating with internal teams to ensure swift resolutionHandle escalations from support teams and customers providing expert guidance and actionable insightsDevelop and refine detection mechanisms using existing tools to address gaps in threat coverageCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment during incident investigationsMaintain detailed documentation of incidents investigations and resolutions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharingQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in email or webbased security incident investigation and responseAt least 2 years of experience working with large datasets and performing data analysisProficiency in crafting detection rules using Regular Expressions familiarity with YARA is a plusDeep understanding of email protocols headers and analysis tools especially within O365 environmentsExperience in handling customer escalations and delivering clear investigative reportsStrong grasp of the email threat landscape and emerging attack vectorsFamiliarity with Kusto Query Language KQL for threat hunting and data analysisAbility to interpret data and present findings in a clear insightful mannerStrong communication skills both written and verbal with fluency in EnglishWillingness to participate in a global oncall rotations 247 ShiftsSkills
