Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Data Architecture Design Design scalable and secure enterprise data architectures for transactional systems, data warehouses, and data lakes. Define data flows, integration strategies, and architecture blueprints to support business intelligence and analytics platforms. 2. Data Modeling Develop logical, physical, and conceptual data models to represent complex business requirements. Create and maintain dimensional models (star/snowflake schemas) and normalized data structures for OLTP and OLAP systems. Use data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or Lucidchart . 3. Data Governance & Quality Define data standards, naming conventions , and metadata strategies to ensure consistency across systems. Collaborate with data stewards to enforce data quality rules , validations, and lineage tracking. Recommend technologies and platforms for data storage, integration, and processing (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, Databricks).
