Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the diagnostics architecture across multiple ECUs and vehicle platforms.
Lead requirements analysis, design, and documentation for diagnostic protocols (UDS, COM,OBD, DoIP).
Architect and design DTC handling, FBL/bootloader diagnostics concepts.
Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR, ISO, and OEM-specific diagnostic standards.
Support customer discussions, technical workshops, and RFQ responses as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in automotive embedded software with at least 5 years in the diagnostics domain .
Strong knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), COM, OBD-II (ISO 15031
Expertise in non-AUTOSAR , AUTOSAR Classic diagnostics stack (DCM, DEM, FBL).
Familiarity with OEM diagnostic specifications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with customers and global teams.

Good to Have

Experience with Over-the-Air (OTA) update strategies .
Familiarity with ASIL / Functional Safety (ISO 26262) impact on diagnostics.
Exposure to cloud-connected diagnostics and telematics .
Experience with Vector CANdela, ODX, OTX, CANoe, CANalyzer, DAVinci Configurator .
