Job Summary:
The Elevator Service & Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of elevators to ensure their safe and efficient operation. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Service and Maintenance:
o Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide range of elevator systems (e.g., traction, hydraulic, MRL) in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and industry regulations.
o Conduct thorough inspections of elevator components, including ropes, sheaves, motors, control panels, safety devices, doors, and car operating panels.
o Lubricate moving parts, adjust brakes, clean components, and replace worn or defective parts as needed to ensure optimal performance.
o Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
o Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of elevators.
o Respond to emergency service calls and breakdowns, providing prompt and efficient solutions.
o Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service, maintenance, and repair activities, including parts used and hours worked.
o Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
2. **Troubleshooting & Repairs:
o Identify the root cause of malfunctions and breakdowns through systematic diagnosis.
o Perform corrective repairs, replacing or adjusting components such as contactors, relays, circuit boards, motors, and hydraulic cylinders.
o Conduct load tests and safety tests as required to verify proper operation after repairs.
3. **Customer Interaction:
o Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, building managers, and occupants regarding maintenance schedules, service issues, and repair statuses.
o Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. **Safety & Compliance:
o Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
o Ensure compliance with local and national elevator codes and regulations.
o Participate in ongoing safety training and initiatives.
5. **Documentation & Reporting:
o Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
o Report any unusual or recurring issues to the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
