Electrician

Job Title: Electrician Department: Maintenance / Electrical / Engineering Reports To: Electrical Supervisor / Maintenance Manager Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role ensures that all electrical installations comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or breakdowns.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other maintenance staff.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience (depending on role level).
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and safety codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with control panels, motors, and distribution systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Work Environment:

• May require working in shifts or at heights.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, depending on site conditions.
• Use of safety equipment (gloves, helmets, goggles, etc.) is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
