Electrician

Building electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment throughout the Building to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of lighting, power distribution, and other electrical components. They also install new systems, upgrade existing ones, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Inspections:

Regularly inspect and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, power outlets, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment.

• Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures.

• Installation:

Install new electrical systems, components, and fixtures, ensuring they meet standards and safety regulations.

• Emergency Response:

Respond to emergency electrical issues, assess the situation, and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions and hazards.

• Compliance:

Ensure all electrical work adheres to local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.

• Safety:

Follow all safety procedures and protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

• Coordination:

Collaborate with other staff, contractors, and vendors as needed to complete projects and ensure smooth operations.

• Inventory Management:

May be involved in maintaining an inventory of electrical supplies and materials.
