• ITI in Electrical
• Min.experience of 4-6 years as an industrial electrician, preferably in bio-fertilizer, chemical, agricultural, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, transformers, control panels, PLCs, and power distribution.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and automation systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centre(s) (MCCs), and electrical instrumentation.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and safety practices.
• Proficient in using electrical testing tools such as mustimeter(s), oscilloscopes, and insulation resistance testers.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment diagrams.
• Attention to detail and safety, ensuring all electrical work is performed to high standards and complies with safety regulations

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for plant equipment, including motors, control panels, transformers, and power distribution systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to machinery, control systems, and utility equipment, such as pumps, compressors, and boilers.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations to maintain safety in all plant electrical work.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to plan and execute electrical work with minimal disruption to plant production.
• Calibrate and configure control systems such as PLCs, sensors, and instrumentation used in the bio-fertilizer production process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centre (s), and electrical distribution panels.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper electrical connections and compliance with plant safety standards.
• Work safely, following all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety practices.
