Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Technician (Assembly Section, Contract)

Location: MM Nagar

Reports To: Line Supervisor

Job Purpose

To assemble, install, and test electrical components and wiring within products or systems, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble electrical components and wiring according to assembly drawings and specifications.
Install electrical parts in panels, machines, or equipment as per guidelines.
Perform basic soldering and crimping of wires and connectors.
Conduct continuity and insulation tests on assembled units.
Ensure proper labeling and routing of wires during assembly.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Skills & Qualifications

Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 4/6 years in electrical assembly work.
Technical Skills: Ability to read wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
Basic knowledge of electrical testing tools and soldering techniques.
Understanding of safety standards in assembly operations.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in assembly line environment.
Manual dexterity for handling small components and wiring.
