Electrical Technician

A Maintenance Technician performs routine upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems, machinery, and grounds to ensure smooth, safe facility operations, handling tasks from plumbing/electrical fixes to preventative maintenance and inventory, all while following strict safety protocols to minimize downtime and maintain standards. Key Responsibilities Inspections & Diagnostics: Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues, using diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems. Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, checks) to prevent breakdowns. Repairs: Fix faulty equipment, structures, and systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC). Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve unexpected issues quickly, often involving dismantling and replacing parts. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations (PPE, protocols) and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Documentation: Complete work orders, log maintenance activities, and prepare reports. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock of parts and supplies, placing orders as needed. Emergency Response: Respond to urgent requests and potentially provide on-call support.
