Key Aspects Focus on Low-Voltage Systems: Unlike traditional electrical engineering, which deals with high-voltage power generation and distribution, electronic engineering concentrates on low-voltage applications and smaller, more complex electronic components and systems. Use of Active Components: A hallmark of electronics is the use of active components, such as semiconductors, to amplify and control electrical signals, a key distinction from earlier electrical engineering that relied on passive devices. Applications: Electronic engineers design the internal circuitry of devices such as mobile phones, satellites, GPS devices, and radar and sonar systems.
