Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai and Chennai for an Electrical Protection & Substation Automation System (SAS) Testing & Commissioning Engineer. The Engineer will be responsible for conducting protection relay testing, SAS configuration, integration, and communication testing for HV/EHV substations. The role involves extensive travelling within and outside India.

Qualifications

• Graduates having degree in Electrical engineering having 0–3 year’s experience of onsite testing & commissioning of protection relays and SAS -

  Substation automation system

• Strong understanding of core concepts in Electrical Engineering
• Shall understand the protection scheme and logics drawings of various voltage rating.
• Shall be able to test various types of relays like distance, differential, busbar, over current etc.
• Shall be able to test and commission various scheme for 400/220/132kV voltage rating of different electricity boards and private customers.
• Shall be able to do the configuration of the relays.
• Shall be able to operate any make of relay test kit for testing of relays.
• Shall be able to do the necessary modifications in the scheme as per site requirement.
• Shall be able to commission the Substation automation system.
• Shall have the experience of configuration of Substation Automation System at site.
