Electrical Protection & Substation Automation System - SAS Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Role Overview: As an Electrical Protection & Substation Automation System (SAS) Testing & Commissioning Engineer at Eclectic Power Solutions, you will be responsible for conducting protection relay testing, SAS configuration, integration, and communication testing for HV/EHV substations. This full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai and Chennai will require extensive travelling within and outside India. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct protection relay testing, SAS configuration, integration, and communication testing for HV/EHV substations - Understand and interpret protection scheme and logics drawings of various voltage ratings - Test various types of relays such as distance, differential, busbar, over current, etc. - Test and commission various schemes for 400/220/132kV voltage ratings of different electricity boards and private customers - Configure relays and operate any make of relay test kit for testing of relays - Make necessary modifications in the scheme as per site requirements - Commission the Substation automation system - Have experience in configuring Substation Automation System at the site Qualifications: - Graduates with a degree in Electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience in onsite testing & commissioning of protection relays and SAS - Substation automation system - Strong understanding of core concepts in Electrical Engineering - Experience in testing various types of relays and commissioning schemes for different voltage ratings - Ability to configure relays and operate relay test kits - Experience in making necessary modifications in schemes as per site requirements - Experience in commissioning Substation Automation System at the site,
