Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance (Injection Molding Equipment)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of

  injection molding machines

  ,

  robots

  ,

  hot runner systems

  ,

  temperature controllers

  , and

  PLC-based control panels

  .
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
  
• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and electrical components for consistent machine performance.
  
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  

2. Utility Maintenance

• Maintain and monitor

  transformers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, air dryers, and DG sets

  .
• Conduct regular inspections of

  power distribution panels

  ,

  cabling

  , and

  earthing systems

  .
• Ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of all plant utilities.
  

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Prepare and implement

  preventive maintenance schedules

  for electrical systems and utilities.
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history cards, and downtime reports.
  
• Support implementation of TPM / 5S / Kaizen practices.
  

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with

  electrical safety standards

  and statutory regulations.
• Maintain lockout/tagout procedures and support safety audits.
  
• Assist in ISO / IATF audits related to maintenance and utilities.
  

5. Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in new machine installation, electrical commissioning, and plant expansion projects.
  
• Identify and implement

  energy-saving initiatives

  and process improvements.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers for technical support.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in

  Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Experience:

• 15 to 30 years

  of experience in

  electrical maintenance

  within

  plastic injection molding / engineering plastics processing industries

• Hands-on experience with

  PLC systems (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron)

  and

  industrial automation

  preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  electrical drawings, control circuits, and sensors

• Familiar with

  molding machine controls

  ,

  hydraulic systems

  , and

  utility management

• Basic understanding of

  mechanical systems

  for coordination

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
  
• Teamwork, accountability, and time management
  
• Good documentation and communication skills
