Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical and related projects and managing procurement activities for approved materials and equipment. The role ensures cost-effective sourcing, timely purchase, and technical accuracy in all estimation and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, electrical layouts, and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for LV, MV, and control systems.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with vendors for quotations.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets and support proposal submissions.
• Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Maintain estimation database and update rates regularly.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for electrical, mechanical, and project-related materials.
• Request, review, and compare quotations based on technical and commercial parameters.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and project teams for smooth material flow.
• Maintain vendor records and build strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company quality and cost standards.

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of electrical components, control systems, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation/purchase software.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Time management and multitasking capability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
