Electrical Engineering Team Lead

As an Electrical Engineering Team Lead, your role will involve leading a team of engineers in the design and development of production facilities and process skids for greenfield and brownfield projects in the Oil & Gas sector. You will be responsible for effectively communicating with direct reports, team members, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing ITT (Invitation To Tender) documents and preparing technical queries (TQs) for the client - Carrying out FEED verification activities and issuing inquiry requisitions to vendors - Liaising with projects/planning and regional engineering teams to establish project schedules and ensure timely completion - Assigning manpower for engineering activities and recommending cost-effective measures to reduce overall costs - Reviewing vendor drawings and documents to ensure compliance with client specifications and budgeted costs - Coordinating with construction sites and commissioning engineers to provide technical support as needed - Participating in client meetings and design reviews such as SAFOP and HAZOP meetings - Undertaking FATs and inspections/visits as required - Validating man-hour estimations and evaluating sub-contractors/vendors during the sale/tender phase - Conducting project audits and ensuring engineering deliverables are on time and within budget during the project execution phase Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing engineering performance, quality, and providing feedback for improvement. Your experience should include 10 to 15 years in the industry, with expertise in executing proposal, FEED, and detail engineering of oil & gas projects. You should have knowledge of industry processes such as MEG, TEG, PWT, SWT, Desalters, Power units, Dehydrators, Gas and Solids treatments, and Process Electric Heaters and control panels. Familiarity with LV, MV, and HV systems, MCC, transformers, GEG, GTG, EDG, MTOs, and electrical system studies using ETAP is essential. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. The job location for this position is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.,
