Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for performing design calculations using E-Tap / E-Des. Your exposure to Process Hazard / Risk Analysis, Hazardous Area Classification, HAZOP / HAZID studies, and preparing close-outs will be advantageous. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparation of single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis, transient stability analysis, ground grid design, relay coordination and setting calculations. - Designing transformers, MCCs, and conducting cable sizing and lighting calculations. - Specifying electrical equipment and layout, preparing datasheets for electrical items, specifications, and request for quotations. - Conducting vendor drawing reviews and vendor design evaluation. It is essential for you to have good working knowledge in relevant ASME, API, ANSI, DIN, BS, IS, OISD, NEC, IEC, IP codes, and standards. Hands-on experience in E-Tap, E-Des, CYME, and lighting calcs software is a must for this role.
