Lead a team of technical professionals and oversee all primary engineering activities for 145kV to 420kV GIS. Manage primary engineering teams during project execution, focusing on post-order activities. Review, verify, and approve technical documentation (e.g., SLD, GSLD, GTP, layout foundation) during the execution phase for customer submissions, ensuring coordination of engineering drawing approvals and support during customer FAT inspections. Drive the development and optimization of engineering processes to enhance quality and streamline operations. Oversee engineering operations related to primary project engineering execution with hands-on involvement. Possess in-depth knowledge of high voltage power products, including metal-enclosed circuit breakers, product structures, and applicable material standards (ISO, IEC, DIN, ASME). Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align engineering activities with customer satisfaction goals. Review and validate the Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects in accordance with specific requirements. Background: B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on developing robust vendor ecosystems, ensuring compliance, driving cost reductions, and maintaining product quality and supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Development & Strategic Sourcing o Develop and implement vendor development strategies aligned with business goals. o Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on capability, capacity, and quality standards. o Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure supplier qualifications. o Build a strong vendor base for key mechanical systems: heavy fabrication, cooling systems, hydraulic systems, etc. 2.
