Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Electrician Duties:

• Installation

  : Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Troubleshooting

  : Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.

• Safety Compliance

  : Follow electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure safe working practices.

• Maintenance

  : Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability.

• Documentation

  : Maintain records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.

Supervisor Duties:

• Team Leadership

  : Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of electricians, providing guidance and support.

• Project Management

  : Oversee electrical projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Training

  : Train and mentor junior electricians on technical skills, safety practices, and company policies.

• Quality Control

  : Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Communication

  : Act as a liaison between management and electricians, reporting on progress and addressing any issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills

  : Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.

• Education

  : High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in electrical work preferred.

• Experience

  : Several years of experience as an electrician, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
