Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our interior furnishing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical layout and design. This role involves coordinating with design teams, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works in line with interior design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review electrical systems and layouts for interior furnishing projects.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD in coordination with interior design plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Supervise and inspect electrical installations on project sites.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to integrate electrical components seamlessly into interior fit-outs.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications related to electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues arising during project execution.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the interior furnishing or fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drafting and design.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial, retail, or hospitality interior projects.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination in fit-out projects.
