Job Description

Job Title:

Electrical Draughtsperson

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and update 2D electrical drawings for power transmission and distribution projects.
Draft layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable routing drawings using AutoCAD.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry and client standards.
Coordinate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes.
Maintain drawing documentation and manage version control.
Support project execution teams with technical drawing clarification when required.

Key Skills Required:

Proficient in
AutoCAD
(2D drafting electrical focus).
35 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson in
power projects
–
mandatory
.
Knowledge of electrical layouts, SLDs, and substation/switchyard design basics.
Good understanding of drawing standards and documentation practices.
Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
