Electrical Designer – Oil & Gas Domain

Key Responsibilities

:
  • Design and develop electrical layouts and schematics for Oil & Gas projects.
  • Prepare cable routing layouts, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, and other detailed drawings.
  • Generate material take-offs, BOQs, and support documentation for procurement and construction.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as instrumentation, piping, and civil for interface inputs.
  • Review and update drawings based on client comments or site modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in model reviews using E3D and incorporate feedback into design updates.


Mandatory Skills

:
  • Proficiency in

    E3D (Aveva)

    and

    AutoCAD

    .
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in

    Oil & Gas

    or related industrial domains.
  • Hands-on experience with cable tray layout, lighting, grounding, and hazardous area classification.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, SLDs, and other engineering documents.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with international design standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
