As an HUB PL PT Tender Electrical Designer for Hitachi Energy's Transformers Business in Vadodara, India, you will play a crucial role in transforming energy and contributing to a sustainable energy future. The Transformers BU team is dedicated to leveraging innovative technology to deliver social, environmental, and economic value in various sectors like power generation, transmission, distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial projects, and mobility. By working on power transformers, insulation, digital sensors, and transformer services, you will be at the forefront of improving power quality and network management in an increasingly complex grid environment. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse groups and cultures, adapting to changing business requirements, and excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively within set timelines are essential for success in this position. In this role, you will be responsible for developing application power transformer designs that align with market needs and tender specifications. By preparing data sheets, cost sheets, and engaging in technical discussions with customers, you will contribute to the growth of Hitachi Energy's transformer business. Additionally, your involvement in internal design concept reviews and exploration of new transformer accessories will further enhance your contribution to the team. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and possess less than 6 years of experience in Electrical design for Power Transformers (66kV & above). Familiarity with Power Transformer Electrical Design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance, as well as transformer mechanics is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and an understanding of simulation or software development would be advantageous. Your ability to work independently, contribute to team discussions, and adapt to new areas of learning will be key to your success.
