Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for basic and detailed design on Infrastructure, Energy, and M&M projects. Your role will involve having a good knowledge of Electrical Physical design, coordinating with other technical disciplines, and exposure to Indian, US, Euro, and other foreign codes/standards. You will develop designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures, and plant arrangements under supervision and present them in detailed scale models. Key Responsibilities: - Generate 2-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) plant layouts and drawings using Microstation/AutoCAD/Smart Sketch from detailed design 3-D CAD model with minimal guidance - Proficient in S3D modeling such as Equipment modeling, Raceway, Grounding, and lighting - Prepare design calculations, bulk material quantity takeoffs, and material requisitions for materials applicable to the discipline - Maintain and access job drawing files, records, and drawing controls - Coordinate with designers in other disciplines to ensure overall design and technical requirements are met - Foster a work environment based on openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction Qualification Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience with specialized courses in drafting, design, engineering practices, and CAD, or a recognized diploma/ITI certificate - Site experience will be an added advantage - Sound knowledge of CAD design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods - Familiarity with relevant design standards, engineering and construction materials, and industry regulatory standards - Basic knowledge of Raceway, lighting, grounding design and modeling, cable sizing - Experience in using Navisworks for model review and clash detection, proficiency in SPR - Ability to work in a team and cross-functional environment Additional Details: Bechtel is a global operation supporting projects and services worldwide, aligning capabilities with customers' objectives to create a lasting positive impact.
