As a Mechanical Designer at Advance Panel Pvt Ltd in Haridwar, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for electrical transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kV class, as well as compact substations. Your expertise in mechanical design, CAD software, and knowledge of transformer components, substation layouts, and assembly processes will be essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will include designing various mechanical components and assemblies for transformers, such as structural parts, enclosures, bushings, tap changers, and cooling systems. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, with a focus on transformer design or similar industrial equipment, is required. Proficiency in CAD software, familiarity with transformer components and cooling systems, as well as experience with compact substation design will be beneficial.
