The role of Master Production Artist at SGK involves developing precise and top-quality artwork for complex production assignments, which are then integrated into the final layout for assembly. Working closely with the client project team, this position focuses on incorporating branding guidelines such as photography, text, and legal requirements into artwork layouts, including packaging and circular designs, based on the clients" technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in client meetings, particularly during pre-production stages. - Maintain high-quality standards in all client deliverables. - Produce accurate, consistent, and timely intermediate to complex level artwork using industry-standard software, tools, and print techniques. - Translate concepts and brand guidelines into artwork execution. - Establish and nurture effective relationships with internal and external clients. - Complete assigned tasks within the production workflow and designated budget, following work order specifications, company SOPs, and client brand guidelines. - Keep the client project team informed of project status by updating and managing the project tracking system. - Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards in all deliverables and suggest improvements to management for enhancing processes and outcomes. - Fulfill any additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. - Advanced degree (MBA, Masters) preferred. - Minimum of 6 years of prior experience in Graphic Arts, Marketing, or Advertising. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet applications, Adobe Design Suite, Acrobat, QuarkXpress, Agile, etc. - Expertise in Adaptive Design. - Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Proficient in mathematical concepts application. - Capable of establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and clients. - Effective at working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Additional Qualifications: - Ability to work with and influence peers and management. - Self-motivated with keen attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
