Electrical Designer building services

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer/Designer with experience in building services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical services across a range of building projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit (BIM environment) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical building services including lighting, power distribution, earthing, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection in accordance with relevant standards and codes.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure coordinated design solutions.
• Support the preparation of BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
• Conduct site visits to support design implementation and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical building services design (freshers with strong CAD/Revit skills may also apply).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IEC, IS, NBC, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with BIM workflows and clash detection.
• Exposure to sustainable design practices and green building certifications (LEED/IGBC).
• Knowledge of electrical software tools (Dialux, ETAP, or similar) will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,824.96 - ₹48,026.82 per month
