Job Description

Skills Set: Hands-on experience in designing LV & MV switchgear & control gear. Understanding of CT / PT sizing, breaker derating, fuse sizing, protection relay & metering selection, etc. Able to understand the overall SLD of the plant & scope of design. Should be able to read & interpret customer specifications & technical data correctly. Hands-on experience in designing control & protection scheme for power generation & distribution switchgear / control gear. Should be familiar with different modes of system operation like standby, peak power, cogeneration, Load sharing, Load demand, Load shed, etc. Hands-on experience in interfacing protection relays & other power generation equipment with the switchgear/control gear. Knowledge of Testing & commissioning of LV & MV switchgear. Should be familiar with Automatic transfer switch, battery charger, & load bank design & operation. Should be familiar with various industrical communication protocal like Modbus, Ethernet TCP etc. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor in electrical. 0 to 3 years of experience in switchgear design. Proficiency in CAD and design tools. ACAD (Electrical) experience is much preferable. Strong team player with a high level of integrity and energy. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to identify and manage priorities
