Electrical Design Engineer
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Job Description

Create detailed electrical designs for substation layouts, including single-line diagrams, circuit layouts, wiring diagrams, and
grounding systems. Collaborate with civil, structural, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure cohesive design and project integration. Experience with SCADA systems and substation automation. Develop control and protection schematics and perform relay coordination studies. Optimize system performance through effective component selection and electrical configuration. Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and technical reports. Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activities. Conduct site visits and support construction and commissioning teams with technical guidance. Strong understanding of electrical design principles, grounding, protection systems, and HV/MV equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and Substation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
