Electrical Design & Controls Engineer

As an Electrical Designer at our company, your main responsibilities will include: - Designing Electrical systems using AutoCAD & Eplan. - Evaluating & analyzing electrical systems, products, components, and applications. - Searching for new products to optimize the design and cost of the system. - Remaining updated about the latest technologies in the electrical field. - Testing & confirming systems and components" capabilities and suitability to the application. - Designing & developing electrical solutions by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods. - Ensuring product quality by testing sustainability of electrical designs. - Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Providing engineering information by answering queries from customers. - Maintaining the product database by documenting design & process data of projects being handled. - Providing training & guidance to technicians during & after project completion. - Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications required for this role: - Four year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering related field. - Hands-on experience on AutoCAD and Eplan is required. - Total of 3-5 years of electrical designing experience is required. - Thorough knowledge of PLC & DCS system architecture is required. - Knowledge of fieldbus systems (DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus, etc) and their architecture is required. - Automotive Industry support experience is a plus.
