Electrical Design & Controls Engineer

As an Electrical Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems using AutoCAD & Eplan. Your role will involve evaluating and analyzing electrical systems, products, components, and applications. You will search for new products to optimize design and cost of the system while staying updated about the latest technologies in the electrical field. Key Responsibilities: - Designing Electrical systems using AutoCAD & Eplan - Evaluating and analyzing electrical systems, products, components, and applications - Searching for new products to optimize design and cost of the system - Remaining updated about the latest technologies in the electrical field - Testing and confirming systems and components" capabilities and suitability to the application - Designing and developing electrical solutions based on customer requirements - Assuring product quality by testing sustainability of electrical designs - Providing engineering information and answering queries from customers - Maintaining product database by documenting design and process data of projects - Providing training and guidance to technicians during and after project completion - Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Qualifications Required: - Four year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering related field - Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Eplan - 3-5 years of electrical designing experience - Thorough knowledge of PLC & DCS system architecture - Knowledge of fieldbus systems (DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus, etc) and their architecture - Automotive Industry support experience is a plus In addition to the technical responsibilities, you are expected to have a pleasant and professional demeanor to work with end users in a dynamic environment. Your practical experience of implementing designed systems, developing and troubleshooting controls & electrical systems will be crucial. Your exceptional organizational and planning skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving, and follow-through will be essential to succeed in this role. You must be able to work with minimal supervision while keeping management informed with timely project status reports. Your ability to quickly assess and resolve conflicts and complaints, provide appropriate follow-up, and commit to excellence in service, performance, and execution is highly valued. Being an advanced PC user proficient in Microsoft Office products with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills, will be beneficial.
