Electrical BIM Modeler

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems (lighting,

power, fire alarm, ELV, etc.) using Revit.

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schedules from the BIM

model.

Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans, project standards, and client

requirements.

Collaborate with architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design

clashes and coordination issues.

Update models as per design changes and maintain model integrity

throughout project stages.

Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines using Revit.

Support BIM Coordinators/Managers in implementing project workflows and

quality checks.

Stay updated with BIM standards, software advancements, and best practices

Preferred Candidate Profile

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent qualification.

5+ years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling (international projects

preferred).

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).

Understanding of BIM workflows, LOD levels and project documentation.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong attention

to detail.Good communication and coordination skills.
