Description The Role

Application Development & Configuration

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications using App Engine and FSO (Financial Services Operations) data models.
• Develop and maintain Flow Designer and Integration Hub workflows to automate complex business processes.
• Implement UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and data models to enhance platform usability and Automation :
• Build and deploy automated workflows for address change processing, wire transfers, cash management, and other financial operations.
• Ensure solutions comply with financial data governance, security, and audit & API Development :
• Develop API-based integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems such as Fiserv, DocuSign, Verafin, and other core banking platforms.
• Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server for seamless data & Collaboration :
• Collaborate with solution architects, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT, troubleshoot integration issues, and perform root-cause analysis for incidents and & Governance :
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, test plans, and deployment guides.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, CMDB integrity, and platform governance Skills & Qualifications :
  

Technical Expertise

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with exposure to the FSO module or App Engine.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with UI Builder, Data Models, and Security (ACLs, roles, permissions).
• Sound knowledge of ServiceNow APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and JSON/XML Experience :
• Prior experience working in banking, payments, or financial operations is preferred.
• Understanding of financial data flows, wire processing, KYC, or AML operations is a & Methodologies :
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, CI/CD pipelines, and ServiceNow DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control and automation Skills :
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
