Job Description

You are an experienced and detail-oriented Wireless Network Engineer with expertise in Wi-Fi planning, design, deployment, and troubleshooting using Ekahau tools such as Sidekick and AI Pro. You have a strong background in enterprise Cisco and Aruba wireless infrastructure and will be responsible for ensuring high-performance wireless connectivity in complex enterprise environments. - **Wireless Network Design & Planning:** - Utilize Ekahau AI Pro and Ekahau Sidekick for predictive and on-site wireless site surveys. - Analyze RF coverage, capacity planning, channel planning, and spectrum analysis. - Develop detailed wireless network designs and heatmaps based on the physical environment and user density. - **Troubleshooting & Optimization:** - Conduct on-site and remote RF troubleshooting using Ekahau Sidekick and spectrum analysis tools. - Identify and resolve issues related to interference, coverage holes, co-channel interference (CCI), and roaming performance. - Continuously optimize wireless networks for performance, reliability, and user experience. - **Collaboration & Support:** - Collaborate with network engineers, security teams, facilities, and end-users during deployment and support phases. - Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members. - Assist in planning for capacity upgrades and future wireless initiatives. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - 3-7 years of experience in enterprise wireless network design and deployment. - Proficiency in Ekahau tools: Ekahau AI Pro, Sidekick, and Ekahau Cloud. - Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless networks (Catalyst, WLCs, Aruba as well). - Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and spectrum analysis. - Experience with wireless authentication and security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS, 802.1X). - Familiarity with LAN/WAN, VLANs, switching, and firewall interactions in wireless environments. - Experience in generating Heat maps, Predictive reports, conducting Active and APOS surveys (AP on a stick survey). - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.,
