EHS Officer/Safety Officer-(Only Solar Project Candidates Can apply)

Key Responsibilities.

Safety Management System:

- Update existing and develop new elements of the documented management system, including technical standards based on the best safety standards.

- Update existing and develop new elements of the documented management system, including technical standards based on the best safety practices specific to solar projects.

- Ensure the standardization of systems and practices across all solar projects.

Project Safety Implementation:

- Work with businesses/clusters/sites to develop and implement safety standards across the business lifecycle and project stages.

- Guide the site EHS team on new organizational requirements and develop implementation plans.

- Ensure that critical project design and implementation meet all legal compliance and company safety standards.

- Develop and implement various training modules on safety specific to solar energy projects and build capabilities in the team through regular training.

- Identify training needs and initiate awareness and training programs tailored to solar energy safety.

Audits and Inspections:

- Schedule and conduct periodic audits across various business sites and manage audit data.

- Conduct safety inspections/audits and field audits for compliance.

Risk Management:

- Identify and implement newer, safer ways of operations.

- Participate in major projects, change implementation, and accident investigations.

- Analyze and review monthly safety performance with site leadership teams.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work with site teams for the implementation of critical safety systems and conduct periodic audits to ensure system effectiveness.

- Collaborate with key partners to build a Quality, Safety, and Environment culture across all projects by implementing best-in-class processes and focusing on continual improvement.

Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of safety management principles, practices, and standards specific to the solar energy industry.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in safety management tools and techniques, including auditing and root cause analysis.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver sustainable safety solutions.

- Commitment to continuous improvement of safety processes and systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
