Job Description

Develop guidelines and procedures for process safety management implementation.
Train associates on Process Safety Management tools & its application.
Establish process safety management tools like PHA, Process safety pack and integrate these techniques as part of Technology Transfer Process SOP.
Support to CFT (Cross Functional Team) in view of process safety related issues.
Selection of equipments based on material of construction and safety criticality.
Prepare action plans for process safety projects and implementing the same.
Organizing and imparting Process hazard and other job-related trainings to all relevant personnel.
Participation in periodic reviews of PSM gap analysis for compliance.
Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all activities and operations and implement the preventive measures obtained.
Establish a full program of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks.
The Chemical Process Safety candidate must be capable of identifying process hazards, evaluating the risk of those hazards, and assist in the development of effective solutions to mitigate risk.
The Chemical Process Safety Candidate must be familiar with the fourteen elements of Process Safety Management (PSM) and the EPAs Risk Management Plan (RMP) rule.
The Chemical Process Safety candidate responsibilities may include the following:
Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) on existing and new processes
Provide oversight for the site Management of Change (MOC) Process and Mechanical integrity.
Manage the site PHA schedule and recommendation implementation plan
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for incidents and near misses
Provide mentoring and training for site personnel on process safety.
Participate on teams responsible to implement new products and processes
