Day to Day Responsibility of our Officer:

 EHS Program Development and Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.

 Sustainability related activities:

· Regularly assess the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives through performance metrics and feedback mechanisms

· Prepare and present sustainability reports to management, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and future goals

· Resolve/Acknowledge queries raised by the Customers for Sustainable development by outreaching programs aimed for practicing sustainability through ongoing improvement effects include setting goals like – Carbon footprint, Green technologies.

 Training and Education:

• Conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Develop training materials and ensure all employees are aware of and understand organizations rules and regulations for new employees and existing ones.

 Review Carbon Footprint and Emission:

• Gather relevant data on energy consumption (electricity, fuel), fuel types used, machine operating hours, materials usage, waste generation, and other relevant factors. This data can be obtained from utility bills, machine logs, and supplier information.
• Collaborate with management to set realistic and measurable targets for reducing carbon emissions. Targets should be aligned with broader sustainability goals and consider feasibility within the operational context of the CNC shop. Prepare reports on carbon footprint reduction efforts and their outcomes.
• Use emission factors specific to the region and energy sources to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the identified scopes. Tools like carbon calculators or software can simplify this process.

 Supplier Assessment:

• Evaluate your suppliers' current sustainability practices and capabilities.
• Identify areas where improvements can be made to reduce Scope 3 emissions. Consider conducting sustainability assessments or audits.

 Committee Management and Documentation:

· Maintain records of all Legal Documents and Register for Audit purpose along with the Records of the Devices – includes Lifting, Moving devices, Pressure Vessels.

· Manage All Committee’s which comply under working for the Safety Standards of the organization.

 Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct emergency drills and training sessions.

 Energy Audit:

· Analyse collected data to create a profile of energy use by different equipment and processes. Compare energy use against industry standards or similar facilities to identify outliers and potential inefficiencies.

· Use energy meters, data loggers, or software to monitor energy consumption patterns over time by documenting production schedules, operating hours and peak usage times.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role with ISO audit responsibilities.

· Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment. – Mandatory.

· Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor, Occupational Health Safety Technologist (OHST), or other relevant certifications preferred.

· Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

· Excellent communication and training skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location and commitments:

v Working hours – Mon to Sat – 6 days (Working Culture).

v For Weekends, we work 6 days a week, 2nd Saturday & Sundays are off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
