EHS Head - High Rise Tower

As the Project Lead EHS Site, your primary responsibility is to ensure the comprehensive implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols and systems at the project site. This includes overseeing statutory compliance, risk mitigation, incident prevention, and fostering a culture of safety awareness and environmental sustainability. Your role involves leading the EHS agenda through effective planning, monitoring, training, and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with corporate EHS policies and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements under EHS laws and regulations applicable to construction/project sites. - Implement corporate and site-specific EHS procedures, checklists, and control measures. - Monitor contractor EHS compliance through regular audits and inspections. Lead hazard identification and risk assessments, and ensure the implementation of risk control measures. Proactively address potential EHS risks and ensure timely mitigation actions. Lead the investigation of EHS incidents and near-misses, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions. Report all incidents following internal protocols and regulatory norms. Conduct EHS induction and job-specific training programs for employees and contractors. Drive EHS awareness campaigns and toolbox talks on-site. Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Conduct mock drills and evaluate the effectiveness of preparedness.
