As a Mathematics and Physics Teacher, your role will involve designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework. You will plan, prepare, and implement units of inquiry and interdisciplinary projects to foster conceptual understanding among students. Your responsibilities will also include integrating real-world applications, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflection, as well as assessing student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools in line with IB assessment criteria. In addition to teaching, you will maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaboration with subject teams and the MYP Coordinator is essential to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across grades. Your active participation in curriculum planning, review, and professional learning communities will contribute to the overall academic environment. Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learners is a key aspect of this role. You will also be responsible for supporting students" personal and academic development in accordance with the IB Learner Profile. Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to school-wide initiatives and events are expected to enhance your teaching skills and school community involvement.
