Primary Responsibilities Academic Guidance Help students select appropriate courses based on academic performance, interests, and goals. Assist with scheduling, academic planning, and graduation requirements. Monitor academic progress and identify students needing support. Career Counseling Help students explore career options and set career goals. Provide information on colleges, vocational training, and job opportunities. Assist with college applications, scholarships, and entrance exams. Personal and Social Support Address personal issues affecting student performance, such as bullying, stress, or family problems. Provide individual or group counseling. Refer students to external mental health or social services when needed. Parental and Teacher Collaboration Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to create supportive educational environments. Conduct meetings to discuss students’ progress or behavioral issues. Develop and implement intervention strategies for struggling students. Workshops and Programs Organize workshops on study skills, time management, test preparation, and personal development. Coordinate career fairs, college info sessions, and other student development programs.
