Job Responsibilities Education Counselor

1. Student Counseling & Guidance

• Provide academic counseling to prospective and existing students regarding MBBS , Gynae.
  
• Guide students and parents on eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fee structure, and career prospects in the medical field.
  
• Address student concerns related to academics, campus life, and program expectations.
  

2. Admission Support & Enrollment Management

• Handle inquiries via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
  
• Conduct campus tours, counseling sessions, and informational meetings for prospective students.
  
• Assist students with application forms, documentation, and entrance exam requirements.
  
• Follow up with leads to ensure maximum conversion and timely admissions.
  

3. Coordination with Academic & Administrative Departments

• Collaborate with the admission office, academic departments, examination cell, and hostel administration to ensure smooth admission procedures.
  
• Coordinate with faculty to conduct seminars, workshops, orientation programs, and academic counseling sessions.
  
• Support students in course registration and academic planning.
  

4. Career Guidance & Student Development

• Provide guidance on medical career pathways, postgraduate options, internships, and competitive exams (NEET, FMGE, USMLE, etc.).
  
• Organize career counseling workshops, guest lectures, and mentorship programs.
  

5. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and enrollment statistics.
  
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management review.
  
• Track student performance and identify those needing academic support.
  

6. Promotional & Outreach Activities

• Participate in education fairs, school visits, seminars, and marketing campaigns to promote the college.
  
• Help prepare brochures, digital content, presentations, and promotional material.
  
• Represent the college professionally during external events and interactions.
  

7. Student Welfare & Retention

• Monitor student satisfaction and resolve academic or personal challenges through proper channels.
  
• Act as a bridge between students and college authorities for grievance resolution.
  
• Support new students during induction and assist with hostel/transport formalities.
