Job Description

Role & responsibilities Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors). Administer medications and treatments per physician orders. Perform frequent assessments (vital signs, neurological checks, etc.). Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement care. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Respond promptly to emergencies (e.g., code blue situations). Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Ensure infection control and sterile procedures are strictly followed. Monitor vital signs and overall condition of newborns. Provide feeding (breastfeeding support, bottle feeding, or tube feeding). Assist in neonatal resuscitation and emergency care. Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed. Educate and support new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and hygiene. Maintain accurate records of newborn status and care provided. Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. Collaborate with pediatricians and neonatologists in the care of high-risk infants. Perform triage to prioritize patients based on urgency. Provide first aid and emergency care (e.g., CPR, wound dressing, stabilizing fractures). Assist in procedures like suturing, catheterization, and IV insertion. Administer medications and monitor for reactions. Coordinate with physicians, paramedics, and other emergency personnel. Prepare patients for surgery or transfer to other units. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations. Preferred candidate profile GNM , BSC
