Career Counseling: Assist students in exploring career options, assessing their interests, skills, and values, and developing career plans. Educational Planning: Help students develop educational and career goals by providing information on college majors, programs, and resources. Student Advocacy: Advocate for students' needs and rights within the educational institution, ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention for students experiencing crises such as academic struggles, mental health issues, or personal emergencies. Resource Referral: Connect students with appropriate campus and community resources, such as tutoring services, counseling centers, and career development programs. Group Workshops and Presentations: Conduct workshops and presentations on topics such as study skills, time management, stress management, and career exploration. Assessment and Testing: Administer and interpret assessments and tests to help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, assessments, and progress to inform decision-making and track outcomes. Collaboration: Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and other student support services to coordinate services and support student success.
