About the Role

Introduction –

This is an exciting opportunity to join Oxford University Press (OUP), a globally respected leader in educational publishing. As Editor – English for the Oxford Inspire programme, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality, curriculum-aligned English language content for K–8 learners. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about language education, pedagogy, and digital innovation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team that values academic excellence, creativity, and responsiveness to evolving educational needs—making this a meaningful next step for those looking to make a lasting impact in the EdTech and publishing space.

Opportunity –

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and edit English language content aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, ensuring learning objectives and outcomes are clearly defined and measurable.
  • Manage the full content development cycle—from manuscript to final print and digital delivery—across Student Books, Workbooks, Literature Readers, Teacher’s Manuals, and lesson plans.
  • Create and review digital content including storyboards for animations, games, interactivities, and e-books on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop and tag diverse question types for rich question banks, ensuring alignment with learning taxonomies.
  • Write and review audio scripts and ensure functionality of interactive e-books.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (editors, creative services, production) and external partners (freelancers, vendors, digital contractors) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Support business development by training sales teams and gathering market feedback to inform product enhancements.
  • Take ownership of project timelines, quality standards, and communication across stakeholders.

Your contributions will directly enhance the quality and reach of OUP’s English offerings, supporting both learner outcomes and business growth.
