EDI Map Developer

Remote.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced EDI Map Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing EDI maps, working with a variety of EDI standards, and using EDI mapping tools such as Biz Mapper. This role requires a strong understanding of business analysis and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EDI maps using Biz Mapper tool.
• Work with various EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, GENTRAN, and JSON.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored EDI solutions.
• Successfully migrate EDI systems from one platform to another.
• Handle multiple transaction sets such as 810, 820, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, etc.
• Map different data formats including EDI, XML, CSV, IDOC to EDI, and IDOC to EDIFACT.
• Participate in unit testing and integration testing, documenting each test case and sharing results with clients.
• Maintain and update documentation including functional specifications, technical design, coding, and testing procedures.
• Provide peak-time project support and adapt to various working conditions.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Work independently as well as part of a team, showing strong cooperation and motivation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in the development and implementation of EDI maps.
• Proficiency in using Biz Mapper tool.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
• Experience with multiple transaction sets like 810, 820, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, etc.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, documentation, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in business analysis and supply chain management.
• Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on EDI solutions.
• Familiarity with regression testing tools.
