Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Management and Production teams to obtain daily inputs on crane dispatches from the factory.
  • Track and understand customer commitment and commissioning dates for all cranes.
  • Prepare detailed

    month-wise and day-wise installation planning schedules

    based on project commitments.
  • Coordinate with the E&C Manager to finalize and confirm contractors for respective installation sites.
  • Liaise with Regional Managers to identify and assign service engineers for each project location.
  • Develop and maintain

    Gantt charts

    defining installation timelines for different crane models.
  • Communicate with customers through formal introduction emails, sharing details of contractors, service engineers, regional managers, service heads, and installation schedules.
  • Monitor site readiness, erection progress, and installation activities, providing regular updates to customers.
  • Act as a central coordination point between internal teams, contractors, service engineers, and customers until final handover of cranes.
  • Track project progress and resolve coordination issues to ensure timely completion of installations.
  • Maintain and update

    MIS reports

    for cranes installed and handed over to customers.
  • Ensure adherence to committed timelines and support smooth project execution and handover.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate in Engineering / Diploma / Management or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in

    project coordination, installation planning, or operations support

    , preferably in heavy equipment, cranes, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of

    project scheduling, installation planning, and site coordination

    .
  • Hands-on experience in preparing

    Gantt charts, planning sheets, and MIS reports

    .

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including production, project management, E&C, service, regional teams, contractors, and customers.
  • Excellent

    communication and stakeholder management skills

    , with experience in customer coordination and progress reporting.
  • Proficient in

    MS Excel

    and familiar with project planning tools such as

    MS Project / Primavera

    (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to timelines.
