We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to lead the identification, onboarding, and management of vendors/sellers under our drop-shipping model for our e-commerce platform. The role requires strong networking skills, a deep understanding of online marketplaces, and the ability to build strong partnerships with local product manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential vendors/sellers in and around Hyderabad suitable for the drop-shipping model.
  • Explain the value proposition and business model to potential vendors and onboard them onto the platform.
  • Assist vendors in product listing, pricing strategy, catalog management, and inventory coordination.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding including document verification, vendor training, and compliance setup.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (tech, logistics, operations) to ensure vendor needs are met.
  • Monitor vendor performance and guide them on improving sales, visibility, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with onboarded vendors to ensure consistent product availability and support.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor vendor strategies, and customer preferences to suggest new vendor categories and expansion strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development or vendor onboarding, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Familiarity with drop-shipping models and inventory-free sales operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and tools.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in onboarding vendors/sellers in B2C or B2B e-commerce platforms.

Exposure to local market dynamics and vendor ecosystem in Hyderabad.

Ability to speak Telugu and Hindi fluently.
