Position KAM–Dy. Manager/Manager- Business Development

Location: Patna

Manager/Manager – Business Development for earliest joining.

What you’ll Get to Do:

Responsibilities:

1. Dealer Network Development:

Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and other partners to establish a distribution network for Cygni’s products for three wheelers
Evaluate potential partners, conduct negotiations, and finalize agreements

2. Sales planning:

Undertake sales planning for the target region and products
Take ownership of sales targets
Develop dealer / distributor incentive plans to drive product sales

3. Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to build an understanding of competitor products and services
Monitor competitor activities within the distribution channel and propose strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

4. Training and Support:

Provide training and support to distribution partners to ensure they are well-versed in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
Collaborate with internal teams to address any technical or operational issues faced by distribution partners.

5. Collaboration with Marketing:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and incentives to support the distribution channel.
Collaborate on the creation of marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience.

Qualifications:

Engineering undergraduate. MBA or Masters in Engineering is a plus.
6 to 10 years of proven experience in developing and managing distribution channels, preferably in automotive components, lead acid battery products, or automotive accessories
Understanding of the lithium or lead acid battery packs is a plus but not mandatory
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Independent thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable plans.
Track record of owning and achieving / exceeding sales targets.
This will be a completely individual contributor role so please suggest a designation accordingly.
