Job Description
You will get the opportunity to develop one of the following capabilities during the STEM Internship Program.
AI Automation Capability (Using Data Science Engineering):
- Apply data science and engineering skills to support data-driven initiatives.
- Utilize Python and AI/ML packages to build and optimize models.
- Identify and automate manual workflows, especially related to modeling tasks.
- Explore and implement AI techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Data Science Engineering Capability:
- Leverage data structures, algorithms, and data modeling techniques to design and implement scalable solutions that optimize data for analytics and insights.
- Utilize cloud infrastructure and storage to develop and maintain modern data warehouse solutions, ensuring secure, efficient data handling and accessibility.
- Gain expertise in data governance and security measures for cloud-based platforms.
Cloud DevOps Capability:
- Utilize DevOps and automation technologies to streamline deployment and operations.
- Leverage cloud platforms to support data and AI workloads.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Usability Automation Capability:
- Develop automation solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Work closely with stakeholders and team members to gather requirements and deliver impactful automation outcomes.
Project Support Capability:
- Support projects with research, analysis, and execution using advanced technologies.
- Manage dashboards for data visualization and assist with reporting.
- Drive process improvements through pilot projects and innovation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree covering any of these areas of study: Computer Science, IT, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science and Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the assignment.
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months graduation from Engineering. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
