Drone Operator (With Drone) – Transmission Line

Location: Kutch, Gujarat

Contract: 1 Year

PROJECT DETAILS – TRANSMISSION LINE (TL)

• Project: 765 kV Double Circuit (D/C) Transmission Line – 250 km

• Route: Kutch 765/400 kV Z2-MPSS to 765/400 kV Load Pooling Substation (LPSS)

• Total Length: 250 km, executed across 3 EPC packages

• Workfronts include: foundations, tower erection, stringing, ROW monitoring, multi-location activities

• Drone operator will support surveillance, monitoring, progress recording, and safety inspections across the stretch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate drone for daily/weekly site monitoring across the 250 km TL stretch.

• Capture high-quality aerial photos, videos, thermal scans, and inspection footage.

• Monitor tower erection, stringing progress, ROW conditions, and safety compliance.

• Assist PMC, QA/QC, and planning teams with drone-based documentation.

• Maintain drone, batteries, and flight logs as per DGCA guidelines.

• Ensure safe flying practices and compliance with project safety norms.

• Provide drone footage for reporting, presentations, and progress monitoring.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Any Graduate

• Experience: 5–10 years as Drone Operator

• Experience in transmission line / construction / utility projects preferred

• Must possess DGCA-compliant training or certification (preferred)

• Should own or be able to operate professional-grade drones (DJI, etc.)
