Job Description

Key Driver Duties and Responsibilities Safe Operation of Vehicle : Adhere strictly to all state and national traffic laws and safety regulations. Practice defensive driving to ensure the safety of themselves, their cargo, and other motorists. Perform pre- and post-trip safety checklists and inspections. Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness : Keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean and presentable. Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle's mechanical components, like oil and tires. Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use. Navigation and Route Management : Accurately follow set routes, maps, and directions using GPS or other navigation tools. Plan the most efficient routes, adapting to traffic, weather, and roadblocks as needed. Report any delays or rerouting issues to the relevant parties. Cargo and Passenger Handling : Safely load and unload cargo or baggage for delivery or transport. Assist passengers with entry and exit, and ensure their comfort and safety during the journey.
